Alexa Swinton
Alexa Swinton was born in New York City and lives in New Jersey. Her mother, Inna, is a Russian-Jewish immigrant from Riga, Latvia and is an actress, author, and comic. Her father, Rolfe, is a Canadian entrepreneur. She has two siblings, Maxim and Ava, who are also performers.
Alexa made her TV debut in as Young Claire in "Flesh and Bone." She has had since appeared in a range of programs including NBC's "Manifest," "Saturday Night Live," "The Tonight Show," "The View," and her recurring role as Eva Rhoades in Showtime's "Billions." Alexa will be taking a lead role as Piper in ABC's new series "Emergence" debuting in Fall 2019.
Alexa's film debut was in Matthew Barney's remarkable "River of Fundament." Alexa has since had leading roles in a number of films including the multiple-award-winning "Nettles." Alexa made her stage debut originating the role of Addie in Bess Wohl's "Make Believe" at the Hartford Stage. Alexa has appeared off-Broadway in numerous plays and musicals including "Annie Warbucks," "Madeline's Christmas," and "Kooky Spook."
